The 17th Annual Rotary Tennis Tournament, in another record breaking year, raised once again funds for under privileged children in Bali. And established itself as Bali's biggest and most popular tennis tournament.

Since 1992 the Rotary Club Bali Nusa Dua Charity Tennis Tournament has raised over Rp. 400.000.000,- for handicapped children throughout Bali to help them lead more productive lives. It is was a pleasure to welcome players from Australia, Singapore, Philippines and Japan who took up the offer from the Conrad Bali and the Westin Bali, to stay at those magnificent hotel resorts and play tennis at the Rotary Tennis Tournament. The "Bali Tennis Getaway" is available again next year.

In the name of the tournament committee, I would like to thank all players and sponsors for their continuous and generous support, especially Wilson Sporting Goods Company which donated tennis balls for the entire tournament and also donated great prizes for the lucky draw and auction. With WILSON's help and with our other sponsors, not to forget the particiapting players, Rotary Club Bali Nusa Dua was able to raise Rp. 37,806,000.- ~ USD 4200.00 to help and care for disabled and disadvantaged children on Bali.

The tradition of Bali's most pupular tennis tournament continues and we look forward to see you at the 18th edition of the Rotary Tennis Tournament, May 2009, here in Bali.
